Adventure is in the Cards

A month or so before my planned retirement, my wife gave a gift that was a perfect way of showing her support of my upcoming retirement. Two sets of adventure cards. One for Houston, our local area, and one for New Mexico, one of my current favorite destinations. These cards are a set of 50 different mini adventures/activities/outings. They are broken down by area. They have some clues as to what to expect (indoor/outdoor, time of day, how long, etc.). But the actual adventure is behind a scratch off area.

It is my plan, once I am retired, to scratch off one or two a week. And then do the activity, no questions asked. And here I will document them. I will keep some of the details hidden so if you don’t want to know the specific card I used you can not look. Just in case you want to get the cards for yourself.
